Abstract

Improved performance of higher education institutions is expected to result in qualified graduates. The preparation of a strategy to improve the performance of higher education institutions in Medan needs executing well. The performance of higher education institutions is measured through student satisfaction. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 250 students in Medan with the criteria of minimum B - accredited higher education institutions and a minimum number of 500 students. The data analysis used to answer the problem is descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that simultaneously online learning facilities and academic staff personalities had a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction in Medan. Partially, online learning facilities have a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction, but the personalities of academic staff have a positive but insignificant effect on student satisfaction in Medan.
