Abstract

Whenever there exists a gap between the present performance and the desired performance, the need for training creeps in as the first priority. Training is always carried out for a purpose. It is a means of maintaining and improving the level of performance of a person. This study formulated to measure the effectiveness of training in the quality and quantity of the employee production. Primary data collected from 35 employees who are working in the production department in BHEL through questionnaire. The quality of production have been measured based on their error occurred and quantity of production measured based on their volume of production. The descriptive statistics and T-test and ANOVA also used for analysis of the data. The result of the study say that the training is more effectively for reduced the error at the time of production. Gender, education, age, income wise all the employees have same in their improvement by training, but in their experience wise the training give different improvement in their production effect. Finally we conclude the training is more effective to the quality of production than the quantity of production.
