Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Freedom of Learning - Independent Campus (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka, MBKM) program at Panca Marga University, especially in the Management Study Program and the Industrial Engineering Study Program. The MBKM policy is one of the policies of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia that must be supported and implemented according to the guidelines issued by the Directorate of Belmawa, Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture 2020. This program is very interesting and provides its own challenges for Education Providers in its implementation, because it involves many parties in its implementation, both students who are the main goals of the program, managers at the University, Faculty, Study Programs, Partners in the business/industry world, other universities, government and society. Quantitative descriptive method is used to measure the effectiveness of program implementation by collecting online survey data using a questionnaire via google form. The results showed that the MBKM program was considered effective in achieving the goals according to the respondents' views from students, lecturers, organizers, and partners. Even though it is declared effective, there are some challenges/obstacles in its implementation.
