Abstract

In this work, our aim is to verify some communicative strategies used in sports journalistic articles. To do this, we used a set of sports articles published in online newspapers. These are articles from the French and Moroccan press. More precisely, these are sports articles covering events linked to soccer competitions. For reasons of corpus homogeneity, the period chosen for data collection concerns articles covering the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers. The choice of French and Moroccan media is justified by the comparative nature of our study.
