Abstract
Abstract Results on IR multiphoton dissociation of rotationally cold CF 3 Br molecules are presented and interpreted. Model calculations have been performed extending current theories and using known linear absorption data. Strong dependence of the dissociation spectra on excitation to the first discrete levels has been recognized and discussed.
