The effect of two kinds of dressing in chronic wounds

Abstract

Objective To compare two kinds of dressing in chronic wounds and improve healing of chronic wounds. Methods A total of 38 patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group,19 cases of observation group and control group of 19 cases. Observation group were treated with natural honey joint chloramphenicol wound dressing processing;the control group were treated with norfloxacin topical dressing; the effect of the two kinds of dressing methods were compared. Results Comparison of the objective group and control group in the time of wound secretions to eliminate edema, granulation tissue growth and wound dry scab of dressing, and the change of the patient's pain score, the time of the observation group compared with the control group was shorter, lower pain scores than that of the control group(P< 0.01); efficiency and healing rate better than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P< 0.05). Conclusions Joint honey chloramphenicol dressing can eliminate wound swelling, promote the growth of granulation tissue, reduce pain, improve healing of chronic wounds, it is worth promoting.
