Abstract

The bearing capacity of both separated and integrated pile-anchor support structures with different pile diameters was studied through the ABAQUS software. The results show that the integrated pile-anchor structure can improve the synergy and integrality of anchor bolts and anti-slide piles, the structure’s force and deformation are significantly smaller than that of separated structure. Besides, the maximum differences in both displacement and bending moment of the pile are 21.36% and 16.05% respectively. The deformation and internal force of the support structures can be reduced by increasing the diameter of the anti-slide piles, and the decreasing extent of the separated support structure is particularly noticeable. However, when the pile’s diameter is larger than a certain value, its effect on the mechanical behavior of the two support structures is no longer significant.
