Abstract
AbstractThis chapter presents the results of theoretical and practical studies to determine the dependence of the humidification intensity of ammonium nitrate granules in a vortex granulator on the quantitative and qualitative features of the porous structure in the porous ammonium nitrate (PAN) granules. The optimal mode of ammonium nitrate granules humidification with a humidifier (water) is determined to obtain a developed porous structure. The study results of the quantitative and qualitative composition of nanopores, obtained under different humidification modes, are offered. The results of granules microscopy with the description of nanoporous structure features, which is obtained under different humidification modes, are presented. The pattern of change in the number and size of nanopores depending on the humidification mode is shown. The obtained results can be used in the production to improve the quality features of the finished product.
