Modification of the Porous Ammonium Nitrate Granules: Impact of the Modifier Type on the Granule Nanoporous Structure

Abstract

The article deals with research of the impact, made by the properties of the modifying additives (which are included to the humidifier) on the nanoporous structure of the ammonium nitrate granules after the heat treatment. The experimental studies results of the ordinary ammonium nitrate granules humidification to obtain the developed nanoporous structure are represented. The humidifier type impact on the structure of the surface and deep nanopores was investigated. The obtained results form the base for the technological calculation of the humidification stage in the general technology to get the porous ammonium nitrate.
