Abstract
The effect of mechanical and heat treatment conditions and applied stresses on the stress-corrosion susceptibility of a high-quality 1Cr12Ni2WMoV-type chromium stainless steel widely used in power generating plants was studied. The effectiveness of the reagent used and its equivalent in relation to the actual working conditions of the steel studied were determined.
