The effect of selected pesticides approved for use in organic farming on the growth of entomopathogenic fungi

Summary The aim of the study was to evaluate the impact of selected plant protection products permitted to use in organic farming on the growth of entomopathogenic fungi in vitro
It was found that the impact of tested plant protection products varied and depended on the product type, a concentration in the culture medium and fungal species
Fungicide Siarkol Extra 80 WP slightly limited the growth of fungal colonies, and at lower concentrations showed even a stimulating effect
Summary
Dniu obserwacji kolonie grzyba osiągnęły wielkość wynoszącą 44,0 mm, czyli większą niż w kombinacji kontrolnej. Stymulację wzrostu kolonii B. bassiana zaobserwowano również w przypadku koncentracji Siarkolu Extra 80 WP w podłożu odpowiadającej dawce 10-krotnie niższej od zalecanej dawki polowej. Timorex Gold 24 EC w zalecanej dawce polowej (A) najsilniej ograniczał wzrost kolonii grzyba I. fumosorosea spośród wszystkich badanych fungicydów Dniu obserwacji odnotowano całkowity brak wzrostu kolonii badanego grzyba, a po 10. Dniu hodowli kolonie grzyba osiągnęły wielkość zaledwie 14,3 mm, czyli o 74,3% mniejszą niż w kontroli.
