Abstract

1. The rate of the high-temperature isotopic exchange of sulfur in the K2SO4-SO3 system, and of oxygen in the Na2SO4-O2 system, depends significantly on the level of radioactive irradiation (in terms of S35) of the investigated sulfate specimens. 2. Radioactivity has been shown to affect the amount of Methylene blue adsorbed from aqueous solutions by precipitated BaSO4 3. As an instance of the positive effect of radioactivity on a catalyst, description has been given of the kinetics of the dehydration of cyclohexanol.
