Abstract

Objective To explore preoperative nursing intervention on the complication of elderly patients with hypertension combined with coronary heart disease after PCI,and to provide a reference for clinical care.Methods Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the risk factors of the complications in the elderly patients with hypertension combined with coronary heart disease in our hospital from 2009 to 2011.According to the analysis result,the patients who hospitalized from January to July 2012 were treated with preoperative nursing intervention,and clinical effect was compared.Results The risk factors of complication occurrence included age,anxiety,diabetes,disease awareness.The complication occurrence rate before nursing intervention was 34.2% (40/117),after the intervention complication rate was 11.1% (13/117) and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05).Conclusions Preoperative nursing intervention can reduce the complications occurrence in in elderly patients with hypertension combined with coronary heart disease after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Key words: Elderly ; Hypertension; Preoperative nursing intervention ; Coronary heart disease
