Abstract

1. To increase the heat resistance of two-phase austenite-ferrite welded seams of type 18-8 steel, alloying the seam metal with phosphorus is recommended. 2. At a content of 0.2% P in a seam of Kh18N9T steel, the heat resistance is increased 5–10 fold without diminishing the resistance to intercrystalline corrosion.
