The Effect of Online Learning Effectiveness Against Student Achievement Motivation (Case Study of Online Learning Student at Bina Nusantara University)

Abstract

Nowadays, the world mark by the development of information technology that has made humans enter the big data era. The Big data era has changed various areas of life, including education. E-learning is a learning model where its implementation is getting better in this big data era. Bina Nusantara University is one of the private universities which already has online learning programs from several majors. Research that measures online learning system effectiveness on online learning student achievement motivation in the big data era (case study on online learning students at Bina Nusantara University). This study aimed to determine the effect of online learning systems' effectiveness and online learning students' achievement motivation. The population in this study are online learning students at Bina Nusantara University. The research instrument consisted of 2 (two) questionnaires, namely the effectiveness of online learning and achievement motivation. The outcome of this research is a positive relationship between learning effectiveness and achievement motivation; the higher the student is learning effectiveness, the achievement motivation increases, and vice versa, the lower the learning effectiveness, the achievement motivation will also decrease.
