Abstract

Objective To study the effect of nursing intervention on children with functional constipation.Methods A total of 150 cases of children outpatients with functional constipation were selected and divided into two groups randomly. 75 patients in control group were treated with routine nursing and 75 cases in experimental group were treated with nursing intervention according with children and their parents including psychological nursing, the training of defecation habit, nutrition treatment, the guidance of moderate exercise and abdomen massage. The difference of treatment effect was observed.Results There were significant differences on treatment effect comparing two groups.Conclusions The detailed and thorough nursing intervention combined with drug treatment can promote the treatment effect of children with functional constipation.
