Abstract

The effect of nonequilibrium non-Arrhenius dissociation kinetics, which cannot be reduced to two-temperature kinetics, on the microparameter distribution in a boundary layer and, in particular, on the heat transfer to the surface of the body is considered with reference to the flow of a binary mixture of nitrogen molecules and nitrogen atoms in the neighborhood of the stagnation point on a blunt body.
