Abstract
The behaviour of power loss and saturation flux density in amorphous alloy cores were investigated when subjected to mechanical vibration. The hysteresis losses and saturation flux density in two amorphous alloys were measured before and after the application of mechanical vibration similar to those occurring under practical operating conditions.
