Abstract
Mössbauer studies on foils of Cu-Fe alloys indicate the presence of superparamagnetic particles and as well exhibit a decrease in the Lamb-Mössbauer factor ƒ for the ferromagnetic components in the spectrum, when a weak transverse magnetic field is applied. This decrease in ƒ is found to be saturated at about 3000 gauss.
