Abstract

The study examined the effect of leisure activity participation of Chinese overseas students on university life satisfaction and school adjustment stress. The subjects of this study were Chinese overseas students who lived in Chungnam, Chungbuk province. A total of 281 questionnaires were collected from June to July 2019. A total of 250 questionnaires were used in the empirical analysis of this study, excluding the questionnaires that were not retrieved from the whole questionnaires and the questionnaires of the unethical respondents. First, According to the participation in leisure activities, the results of analysis by the differences in university life satisfaction, there were some statistically significant differences in presence and frequency. Second, According to the participation(presence, frequency, time) in leisure actvities, the results of analysis by the differences in school adjustment stress, there were no statistically significant difference. Third, It has been revealed that the living satisfaction of Chinese students studying abroad does not affect the school adaptation stress.
