Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of allitridin on the expression of HPV16 E7 protein in cervical lesions. Methods PCR was applied to examine DNA of HPV16 E7 in cervical lesions. One hundred and sixty samples were proved HPV16 E7 positive. Positive samples were randomly divided into three groups: group A(control), group B(allitridin) and group C(caciclovir). The changes in cervical lesions and the changes of HPV16 E7 protein were observed. Results The changes in cervical lesions of groups B and C were significantly higher than that in group A (P<0.05). In comparison with groups B and A, the expression of HPV16 E7 was decreased significantly(P<0.05). The expression of HPV16 E7 of group C was significantly lower than that in group A(P<0.05). However, the negative rate of HPV16 E7 of groups B and C were 56%, 65%,respectively,which was no significantly. Conclusions Allitridin can diminished significantly cervical lesions. And allitridin can down-regulate the expression of HPV16 E7 protein in cervical lesions. Key words: Human papilloma viruses ; E7 gene ; Allitridin ;
