Abstract

A kinetic study was made of the three dimensional polymetrization of a system including a copolymer of tetrahydrofuran and propylene oxide, trimethylopropane, 1,4-butanediol and 2,4-toluylene diisocyanate. The effects of chain branching and extending agents were examined to determine their influence on the process of gelation and on the physico-chemical and mechanical properties of the polyether urethanes.
