Abstract
Subject. The article considers the ecosystem of the IT park, consisting of a complex of interrelated elements (infrastructure, core, networks, human and financial capital). Objectives. The purpose of the study is to assess the impact of indicators characterizing the development and performance of the IT park ecosystem on the innovative and digital activity of the region. Methods. We employed methods of analysis, generalization, and structural modeling to form the structure of the IT park ecosystem. To assess the impact on the region's indicators, we applied methods of comparison, grouping, and identification of relationships between indicators based on correlation matrices. Results. The study of the ecosystems of IT parks enabled to reveal patterns. Firstly, typologization according to the core of the IT park is a scientific and educational organization or an industrial enterprise. In the first case, there is a greater number of residents and a lower volume of production per resident. In the second case, the number of residents is smaller, but the volume of output is noticeably higher. The analysis exposed the largest IT park ecosystems. We also determined development trends and economic effects characterizing positive relationship of park ecosystems with the digital and innovative activity of the regions. Conclusions. During the analysis of large IT parks, we found that they create developments for the region and transfer digital technologies for the region's business, becoming a driver of digitalization.
