Abstract
The objective of this paper is to estimate the economic impact of tariff measures on the prices and quantities of goods produced and traded, as well as on the economic welfare of the EU in the light of producers in Turkey. In fact, currently applied Common Custom Tariffs (CCT), which are considered in the price support system (PSS) applied to producers in the EU's Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), prevents producers from competing fairly in the EU market. The removal of tariff measures is not expected in the near future, but at least a decrease in their negative impacts on the producer gain and consumer surplus is possible if suitable amounts of tariff measures are applied in order to protect producers, as well as Turkish producers.
