Abstract
The research deals with the economic aspects in the book "The compendium of Oyoun AlRawdatain in Akhbar Al-Dawlatain Al-Nouriah and Al-Salahiah" . So the economy of any country is the mainstay of it's establishment, strength and prosperity. Although the book deals with the biograghy of two sultans, Nur Al-Din Zangi and Salah Al-Din Al-Ayyubi,and focus on the political and military aspects, because of what this period witnessed of various wars and conflicts. That, the author of the book, Abu Shama did not neglect the economic, social, urban and cultural aspects, that is why this study came to clarify the economic aspect of these two contries, and knowing their bright and dark sides, bacause the strength of any country is not only related to wars and military vivtories . It is necessary to know it is economy because it is the measure of the independence and prosperity of the state and it is appearance in a bright and prosperous appearance in order to enhance it is strength and sobriety
