Abstract
This paper describes the scintillating fiber tracking detector designed and built for the Fermilab experiment E835. This detector uses Visible Light Photon Counters (VLPC) readout system and is in use at the p ¯ accumulator ring at Fermilab. A description of the components of the detector and preliminary results of its performances are given.
