Abstract

The purpose of this article is to examine and explore the role of sibling relationships and the nature of their impact on parenting. I intend to reflect on this primarily through the lens of attachment, identification, separation, and loss. I hope that by doing this there can be an opening up of further clinical space to think about the influence of siblings in our psychological lives.
