Abstract

Conditions for the formation of highly dispersed monomer emulsions containing a large amount of a microemulsion have been investigated. It is shown that in these systems polymer-monomer particle formation takes place from monomer microdrops. The latex particle size distribution and the MMD of the polymers grow narrower in the course of polymer-monomer particle formation from monomer microdrops.
