Abstract
A literature review of the various fabric geometry studies of single-jersey and rib-knit fabrics is presented, and compila tion and comparison of some of the results for the latter are given. Fabric shrinkage is discussed briefly in light of the loop length, shape changes, and degree of intermeshing changes.
