Abstract

Tourism development is required to maintain sustainability and environmental ecosystem preservation while taking into account the socio-cultural conditions of the local population, so that it may be maintained and enjoyed by future generations. The ability of society to manage tourism potential is a fundamental point in maintaining the tourism business. Society acts as a host with the resources they have, both in the form of customs, traditions, and culture. One of the development models that can be applied to society is sociopreneurship. Through this model, people not only think for themselves but also for others and the environment around them. This study aims to examine the potential implementation of the sociopreneurship model in the development of the Dillem Wilis Agrotourism community, Trenggalek Regency. The method used is qualitative. The data source from this study came from key informants, the Dillem Wilis Agrotourism society. Determination of respondents in this study by means of snowball sampling. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the study’s results, it can be concluded that the sociopreneurship model can be well received by the Dillem Wilis Agrotourism Society. Through sociopreneurship community involvement in tourism development can be maximized in line with the realization of Sustainable Tourism Development.
