Les problématiques d’abus de position dominante sur les plateformes en ligne ont eu pour corollaire la naissance du Digital Market Act qui entend équilibrer les relations entre les grandes plateformes numériques « contrôleurs d’accès » qui contrôlent l’accès au marché numérique et les entreprises utilisatrices de ces services.
