Abstract

The features of low-frequency dielectric losses in the improper ferroelectric crystal of terbium molybdate Tb2(MoO4)3 were investigated in the vicinity of the Curie point. To explain the relations observed, the attenuation mechanism of low frequency electrical oscillations at first order phase transitions was used, which based on the concept of a diffuse phase transition and the fluctuation nature of a new phase nucleation.
