Abstract

Abstract The dielectric constants of some potassium salts and of the iodides and the bromides of lithium and sodium have been measured at high frequencies by means of a mixing method. The investigation of the salts of the phosphoric acid revealed an extraordinary high dielectric constant of the primary potassium phosphate. The assumption of dipoles existing in this material seems to be justified. The same is true for potassium arsenate. It was not possible to measure its dielectric constant by the method applied.
