Abstract
Experiments on the production of antisera for the gel precipitin test in the diagnosis of infectious bronchitis were carried out under various conditions and using different kinds of antigens. The results are described and discussed. It was shown that precipitins exhibited a predilection for homologous antigens in the early stages of the experiments. Best results were obtained from chorioallantoic membranes of low egg passage virus concentrated with aluminium hydroxide and inoculated subcutaneously.
