Abstract
The temperature dependencies of widths and frequencies of vibrational bands corresponding intramolecular vibrations (1100 cm−1 -1700 cm−1) were investigated for supercooled MBBA (N-p-methoxybenzylidene p-n-butylaniline) by Raman spectroscopy. Clearly defined correlation between shape parameter (width), vibrational band position and structural peculiarities MBBA in different phases under fast cooling was established.
