Abstract

A lifelong learning framework has been developed by the project “Joint International Master Degree and Life Long Learning Framework” financed by the Trans European Mobility Program for University Studies. The project has developed an international master's program in mechatronics that will award dual degrees and support lifelong learning by establishing a framework that will initially consist of training centers for the provision of vocational training, continuing professional development, job experience, and competence certification. The framework will eventually be expanded to provide collaborative fabrication laboratories, workshops and seminars, regional mechatronics associations, and activities around a dedicated conference.
