Abstract
The relationship between the moments of the log normal particle size distribution and the moments determined by a dynamic light-scattering measurement is developed for the case when the particles are small and spherical. It is then shown how to use this relationship to transform particle size distributions determined by dynamic light scattering into equivalent log normal size distributions.
