Abstract

In term of simple structure, high precision and high power factor for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), a drive controller for permanent magnet synchronous motor was researched and designed. According to dq axis coefficient model of permanent magnet synchronous motor, id = 0 vector control method is applied as the control strategy of permanent magnet synchronous motor to construct a permanent magnet synchronous motor controller model based on vector control. The digital signal processor (DSP) TMS320F28035 made by TI Company is adopted as core of the control system which is consisted of the power drive circuit, control circuit and the main detection protection circuit The controller adopts internal A/D to sampling the voltage and current signal and uses incremental photoelectric encoder and the DSP with enhanced orthogonal coded pulse (EQEP) module to measure speed and position and employ DSP enhanced PWM (EPWM) module to generate high precision flexible space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) signal. Finally, the circuit schematic needs to be made into a printed circuit board. Then the speed of motor can be adjusted by receiving an external voltage signal. The experimental results show that the control system has the advantages of fast response and the measurement results of speed and position is accurate, and control effect is stable.
