The Design and Verification of Online-Programming IP Based on SOC

Abstract

The thesis mainly proposed the design of a reliable online-programming IP core for MV10, a SOC, which is an 8-bit MCU integrated with PWM, ADC, CAN and other function modules. In this thesis the online-programming IP core can write BIN file into the on-chip SRAM for program debugging with high accuracy-communication and error self-detection. The IP core embedded in MV10 has passed the silicon verification with Global Foundry 0.35um mix-signal library. The online-programming IP core proposed in this thesis can also be used in other SOCs.
