The d-electron states of iron group impurity atoms in silicon

Abstract

The question of the relative arrangement of the crystalline terms is considered, within the framework of crystal field theory, as a function of the location of the impurity atom in the silicon. The results of the corresponding calculations are found to agree with the experimental data.
