Abstract

The study aimed to find out the degree of practicing the traits of agile leadership by secondary school principals in Mafraq Governorate from the teachers’ point of view, and to reveal individual differences in the response of the study sample that is attributed to the variable (gender, years of experience), where the analytical approach was used. The study population consisted of all secondary school teachers in Mafraq Governorate for the year 2022/23 AD, and a random sample consisting of (257) male and female teachers was selected from the population study (20395) male and female teachers. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire consisting of (5) dimensions was prepared, namely: (the trait of humility, the trait of calmness, the trait of wisdom, the trait of patience , the trait of objectivity). The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were verified, and the data was collected and processed statistically in the (SPSS) program. The results of the study showed that the degree of practicing agile leadership traits by secondary school principals from the teachers' point of view in Mafraq governorate was very high, and that there are no statistically significant differences due to the gender variable nor to the years of experience.
 The study recommended providing the necessary training for school principals, providing clear standards for the requirements of agile leadership, periodic evaluation of the availability of agile leadership requirements in educational institutions, and the Ministry of Education in Jordan appointing secondary school principals from the same region to create a harmonious climate between principals and teachers.
