Abstract
The decay of 70As to 70Ge was investigated with Ge(Li) detectors. From the single gamma-ray spectrum measured with a 15 cm 3 and a 30 cm 3 Ge(Li) detector, the energies and relative intensities of 66 gamma rays with energies up to 4.4345 MeV were deduced. Several unknown gamma rays were found. With two Ge(Li) detectors (8 cm 3 and 20 cm 3), coincidences between the stronger gamma rays were measured. From these data, the decay scheme was constructed and the intensities of the β + and electron capture feeding of the levels deduced. Whenever possible, spin assignments of the excited states of 70Ge are given.
