Abstract
In this article the author provides his opinion on why he believes the study of management is dead. He believes that the field has become to concerned with what he calls trivia and is no longer concerned with what is actually taking place in the real world. He argues that there has been a communication failure and that the pressure universities place on publishing has watered down the quality of work. He closes by saying that management failed because it was not focused on the issues of the day.
