Abstract
The contemporary Chinese composer Li Yuqiu played a huge role in the development of the accordion industry in China. He created many works for the instrument, paving the way for the creation of national accordion music. The purpose of the article is to analyse the creative style and artistic value of Li Yuqiu’s accordion works and their infl uence on the development of the accordion art in China.
