Abstract

This article considers the concepts of courage and creativity in the words of three late-20th-century theologians: Paul Tillich and Rollo May, who focused on psychology, and Reverend Al Carmines, who blended his creative self into his ministry, originating the avant-garde performing arts world of the 1960s and 1970s.
