Abstract
In this research, the correlation between empathic tendecy and depression has been reviewed. In this pilot research, Empathic Tendency Scale and Beck Depression Inventory had been applied in a sample which is consisted of 50 people. The results of statistical data analysis, points no correlation between empathy and depression. Key words: depression, empathic tendency
