Abstract
In this letter, the convolution perfectly matched layer (CPML) is modified and implemented for an efficient 3-D finite-difference time-domain method with weighted Laguerre polynomials (WLP-FDTD). The formulations are derived from the CPML equations for conventional WLP-FDTD. A factorization-splitting scheme is used to achieve the high efficiency. Numerical results are given to verify the absorbing performance and efficiency of the proposed CPML.
