Abstract

This chapter discusses some control problems of agile manufacturing system (AMS) as complex dynamic object. The chapter focuses on the existing approaches to AMS dynamics research and appropriateness of system approach realization to development of dynamic models of the given class of systems. Following this, it illustrates modem conceptions of control systems construction of agile manufacturing (AM) orientation necessity in intelligent control to usage of enterprise ontology including all totality of knowledge about laws, principles, and functioning peculiarities of the given system. The chapter also describes intelligent control of agile manufacturing behavior in competitive market conditions, during product realization with the purpose of getting of prescribed profit, presenting examples of effectiveness estimation of intelligent control during manufacturing system functioning in conditions of non-stable economics. Finally, it discusses development perspectives of control systems of agile manufacturing.
