Abstract

Objective Establish a scientific Index System to evaluate the work of enterostomal therapist. Methods Two rounds of survey were conducted by questioning 18 enterostomal therapists on 5 first-class indexes and 32 second-class indexes. The indexes were selected depending on our experience. Delphi method was used for statistic analysis. Results The effective rate of the questionnaire was 100%. 5 first-class indexes and 12 second class indexes were screened out. The first class indexes were job settings, job responsibilities, job technical capacity, job work standards and job plan. The mean of importance, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, degree of expert authority and the degree of expert authority were all got form reliable data. Conclusions The index system to evaluate the work of enterostomal therapist established in this study provides a scientific evaluation system which could sufficiently develop enterostomal therapist′s talent.
