Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the concept of a holistic person in the religious and philosophical psychology of Viktor Nesmelov. The author provides an understanding of human nature on the basis of the spiritual and moral development of the individual. Due to the integrative method, Nesmelov revealed the integrity of man in the unity of his material and ideal nature. There are some psychological categories in the concept of a holistic person, such as consciousness, self-awareness, personality, worldview, free will, the creative nature of the individual, morality, spirituality, the meaning of life. The article describes a schematic theoretical model of a holistic person, in which the central link is the moral choice of the individual.
